Customer Services Supervisor

ABE is the largest haulier in Herefordshire , and we have been proud to serve our customers throughout the 3 counties and further afield with a national delivery and collection service for over half a century .

Our customer service team of 4 are passionate about giving our customers a friendly efficient experience and we are looking for a supervisor to support them in their quest.

Some previous team leading or supervisory experience in an office based environment is essential

We are looking for a team player that wants to be the escalation point for the team.

To be the person the team can look to for support and guidance and hand over to when there is a complex issue they cannot resolve alone.

You will also be handling claims and invoicing and there will be work on collecting statistics and data and investigating issues for root cause analysis.

If the phone is ringing it must be answered and this role is very much part of the customer service team, as such, during holidays, at busy times and seasonal peaks you will be part of the day to day customer care activities.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of time and scope to use your skills to enhance our service offering, improve processes and support the team to learn and develop in their roles. All this along with training and coaching, you will not be bored.

  • Enjoyment of a fast pace paced environment
  • Working in an Office environment minimum 3 years

4.2% pension contribution. Quarterly profit share bonus, (usually £500-£1000 a year.)

Annual leave is bank holidays plus 20 Days (increasing with service)

Working hours mostly 09:00 – 17:30 with a 45 minute lunch break

However, this will vary between 07:30 and 18:00 to cover planned holidays and absence and due to the immediate nature of our business, this may change at very short notice to cover illness within the team
